Debating/Public Speaking

Our public speaking program for all students K-6 is received with enthusiasm by the school community. All students enter the Public Speaking competition selecting their topic from a given list. Class finalists are selected and progress to a grade competition where one winner is then selected for each year level. The winners present their speeches at a formal assembly.

Senior students can enter in the District Debating Competition. In 2007, Greenwich Public School students won the competition with the finals held in Ku-ring-gai Council Chambers.
