Student Learning Assistance

The Learning Support Team, comprised of the Principal, Support Teacher for Learning Assistance (STLA), teaching staff and the school counsellor meets fortnightly to monitor the needs of students requiring learning assistance and extension. We are fortunate to have a specialist teacher in this area fully funded by the P&C.

The STLA works closely with class teachers to develop programs to assist students 3 days a week with their learning needs. Parent and Community volunteers are an integral part of the program as they administer the programs put in place by the STLA teacher. If you would like to volunteer, please contact the school.
